Emmy McGill is a journalist passionate about politics, education, and keeping her community informed. She serves as the current Editor-in-Chief of CRTV Digital --- the club extension of CR News.  Along with her work with CRTV, she is a a youth voices correspondent for The Oregonian and a Princeton Summer Journalism Program alumni. Emmy is also an avid photographer, running her photography business Emmy.edits.photography on instagram. 

Her goal for CRTV Digital is to foster a welcoming community for aspiring journalists by mentoring and creating space for new voices. 

As a Moderator and Producer of The Rapids Report, a panel discussion broadcast, she has opened the floor to student voices and explored topics like vandalism and new administration at Columbia River High School. Additionally, she has provided analytical insight on many topics including the 2024-25 budget cuts and discussions on in-school cell phone policies.
