"CR Mornings" (@crmornings) was CR News' first attempt at a second broadcast during the week in years. Launched in September, 2024, with its slogan "Making Mondays Better," the five minute newscast would air during the end of the Rapid Response period at 10:30am on Mondays.

Created and designed by then CR Weekly News executive producer Talan Collins (@talanjcollins), it was anchored by former CR News senior correspondent Jacob McManus alongside 2024-2025 ASB president Mae Otoupal, initially meant to be joint production between CR News and ASB.

Fill-in anchors Elijah Garon and Isabel Grovom, who each served as executive producer and news producer respectively, would go on to serve as the co-anchors of the program's successor CR This Morning in February, 2025.

Airing for eleven episodes, the newscast's name was rebranded to better align with the transition of flagship Friday broadcast CR Weekly News to CR This Week.

In January 13, 2025, CR News' Jacob McManus announced it would be his last broadcast as the program's co-anchor, but after fellow co-anchor and ASB president Mae Otoupal declined to return as well, the show was entirely halted for nearly a month before undergoing a complete graphic and thematic transformation.

Its successor CR This Morning airs Mondays at 10:30am on CRTV.
