River Volleyball prevails over Ridgefield in a thrilling five-set match after going down 2-1.

(CR Sports) - This past Wednesday, volleyball faced off against Ridgefield at home. In a thrilling showdown, River emerged victorious against Ridgefield, overcoming a 2-1 deficit to secure the win in a five-set match.
With this hard-fought victory, River Volleyball continues to build momentum as they push toward the rest of the season. Their next competition is tomorrow in the D-Fly Classic Volleyball Tournament at Stanwood High School. Good luck and great job, volleyball!_____________________________________
(CR Sports) - This past Wednesday, volleyball faced off against Ridgefield at home. In a thrilling showdown, River emerged victorious against Ridgefield, overcoming a 2-1 deficit to secure the win in a five-set match.
After losing the third set 25-13, River found themselves trailing 2-1. However, the team rallied, taking the fourth set 25-22 and ultimately securing the decisive fifth set 15-11, improving their overall record to 10-2 and remaining undefeated in league play at 9-0.
Sophomore outside hitter Sophia Gourley had an outstanding performance, dominating the court with 27 kills and adding 22 digs. Senior captain Sydney Dreves contributed significantly with 21 kills and 30 digs, and setter Avery Seley had an impressive 56 assists.
With this hard-fought victory, River Volleyball continues to build momentum as they push toward the rest of the season. Their next competition is tomorrow in the D-Fly Classic Volleyball Tournament at Stanwood High School. Good luck and great job, volleyball!_____________________________________
