On Friday, the tournament started and the girls swim team had an outstanding performance with the majority of the swimmers setting new personal records and 2 swimmers qualified for state. For the prelims tournament, Ingrid Morrison Garcia competed in the 100 yard freestyle and took 2nd place with an outstanding time of 00:57.58 and she participated in 200 yard freestyle and took 3rd place with a time of 2:08.93. Also, Annie Morrison Garcia competed in the 100 yard backstroke and took 6th place with a dashing time of 1:10.59.

Yesterday, girls swim competed in the district tournaments and took 1st place, earning the title of District Champions. For individual swimmers, Lucy Taylor competed in the 100 yard breaststroke and took 2nd place with an outstanding time of 1:14.23. Sam Yamashita competed in the 50 yard freestyle and took 3rd place with a dashing time of 0:26.69. For team swimmers, Annie Morrison, Lucy Taylor, Sam Yamashita, and Annie Morgan participated in the 4x50 yard medley relay and took 2nd place overall.
