The girls then went up against Hudson’s Bay on Tuesday and defeated them convicingly, 5-1. Other than the one singles match loss they had (which went to a third set), River won the rest of their matches and won 56 out of 70 games they played in total.

The girls finished out their three-game stretch by defeating Mark Morris yesterday 6-0. They played pro sets against them, meaning each match was won by the first team/person to win eight games. The girls dominated the singles matches, only losing one game in three matches played. They also did well in doubles, winning each match by two or more games.

This is yet another strong start for the girls, especially after having come off a state championship run from last season. They are currently undefeated and proving that they have what it takes to go back-to-back. They finish off the week with one last game tomorrow against R.A. Long before they head into spring break.
