They finished second place in league after two wins last week and now head up to Chehalis this Friday to compete in districts.

“Strong plays from captains Brooklyn Burnett, Zuri Fagaale and Sydney Rehberg helped secure the wins in both matches” said head bowling coach Logan Burnett.
Now, this Friday, 12 teams from the Greater St. Helen’s League and EvCo will compete at districts in Chehalis, including River. The top 4 teams at the tournament will move on to state in early February, and the top 10 bowlers who are not from the top 4 teams will also earn a spot to compete for an individual title at state.
“It will be a battle, but I’m feeling optimistic about our chances—especially if all of them can just bowl their average scores,” Burnett explained when describing the team’s chance of qualifying for state. “We obviously prefer to make it to state as a team, but if that doesn’t happen, I think we still have a good shot at qualifying some girls for the individual competition.”
