Both boys and girls basketball are continuing their strong seasons, while being just four games away from postseason play.
-------- The Columbian
The boys took a tough loss against R.A. Long yesterday with a score of 42-48 but fought hard throughout the whole game. Nevertheless, they have looked very strong throughout the whole season, and with four games remaining in the regular season, they are aiming to end the season strong. The team’s success comes after their appearance in state last year, along with them retaining some key players such as Ari Richardson, John Reeder, and Aaron Hoey. Overall, the boys have had a strong season so far and they play Mark Morris at home next Wednesday, hoping to take a win to keep the season’s momentum going.
For the girls, they have not lost a game since their first of the season, and have been dominating all the teams they face, recently winning against R.A. Long on Thursday 73-33. Their success comes after a state appearance last season, where they went 1-2. With four games remaining in the regular season, they are looking to continue their dominance and end the season strong to make a dominant run in the postseason. They play at Mark Morris next Tuesday and hope to take a win.
