Despite not qualifying as a whole team, they did advance both of their team captains and an alternate to state next Friday.

(CR Sports) - Yesterday, girls bowling competed in the district bowling tournament to see if they could qualify for state.
The state tournament takes place this upcoming Friday at Bowlero in Tukwila, Washington, where River will look to bring home some individual awards and individually place high._____________________________________
(CR Sports) - Yesterday, girls bowling competed in the district bowling tournament to see if they could qualify for state.
They went up against 12 other schools, and needed to place within the top-four to qualify as a team. Unfortunately, they fell just short, placing sixth overall (having scored the sixth most points out of all the teams).
However, despite the whole team not qualifying for state, they advanced two individuals and an alternate. Team captains Brooklyn Burnett and Zuri Fagaale qualified, and Haylee Delano is the alternate and will bowl if someone is unable to at state.
With these individual bowlers clinching the opportunity to bowl next weekend, River Bowling has now qualified for state for the 13th consecutive year, either as a team or with at least one individual.
