They competed in their final meet as a team yesterday and placed eighth overall.

(CR Sports) - Yesterday was the district meet for boys swim, and in their last meet of the season, they swam hard. For districts, the top three finishers in each event qualified for state, and although the boys did not place top three in an event, they had a fifth and fourth place finish.
(CR Sports) - Yesterday was the district meet for boys swim, and in their last meet of the season, they swam hard. For districts, the top three finishers in each event qualified for state, and although the boys did not place top three in an event, they had a fifth and fourth place finish.
One of the boys’ top swimmers was Evan Mulholland. He placed fourth in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:13.67. That time beat out his older brother, Owen Mulholland, who swam a 1:15.37 in the same event.
The boys also finished fifth place in the 200 meter freestyle relay, with a final time of 1:52.55, defeating Washougal who took sixth.
Overall, the boys finished eighth in districts and although it may not have been the result they set out for at the beginning of the season, they still have a bright future ahead with many underclassmen (such as Matthew Noonan, Evan Mulholland, and Matthew Horner) already performing at a high level with a lot of time to still develop.
