They took on Prairie last night and put their talents on full display, winning 57-42, and getting their fifth win this year.

(CR Sports) - Last night, the River girl’s basketball team traveled up to Prairie to take on the Falcons in a non-league exhibition game. The Rapids came into this match on fire, looking to extend their 4 game winning streak, with 3 of those 4 wins being 24+ point victories. The Falcons came into the game 1-1, with their only loss being to Union, who was also the Rapid’s only loss.
They hope to carry this momentum into the next coming days, as they head up to longview to take on R.A. Long on Wednesday, and will then face Mark Morris here at home on Friday._____________________________________

The girls weren’t worried at all though, and came into Prairie’s gym and dominated like they always have this season, winning 57-42. Camy Drake led the way for the Rapids with 12 points, while Gracie Glavin added 10 of her own. This is a big win for the girls as they extend their win streak and remain atop the 2A GSHL standings.
