(CR Sports) -On Wednesday, boys baseball took on Washougal in a close match and won 3-2 in their first league game of the season. The boys pushed through despite the challenging obstacle at hand, creating high tensions as they prepare to compete in an away game against Washougal again later today. Highlighting some key players, Zach Sims had two hits at three at-bats and scored a run, along with Harrison Hoffarth who was 1-for-2 at the plate. Overall, this is another win in their four-game winning streak. Winning the game gives them significant confidence moving into today as they know what they will need to do to defeat Washougal again. The win also improved their overall record to 5-2 on the year, while also making them now 1-0 in league. They are already succeeding with in-league games and considering how they have done in their non-league games, they are proving that they are a high potential team this season._____________________________________
