Just hours ago, they came through with a walk-off run against Hockinson to get their 11th win of the season.

(CR Sports) - In the game, after a hard-fought first six and a half innings, they found themselves trailing 4-5 heading into the bottom of the seventh. However, the boys immediately got to work and were able to tie the game at 5–5, and went on to win on a walk-off run that scored from a passed ball by Hockinson’s catcher.
Looking ahead, they will look to use this win as fuel to finish off the regular season strong. In the coming weeks, they end off the season with three more series: against Woodland, Mark Morris, and R.A. Long. The boys will then most likely head to the playoffs where they plan to make another state championship run. In the meantime, they are focused on taking it game-by-game, while learning from their mistakes to prepare themselves for the postseason._____________________________________

This win gets the boys back on track after they narrowly lost to Hockinson 4-5 on Wednesday - a game in which Hockinson won off a walk-off RBI single. Going into that game, the boys were ranked fourth in the state in terms of RPI (a statistical system used to comparatively rank teams), however, after the game, the boys dropped significantly - to eighth.
Therefore, the win here tonight was key to getting this team back in the win column going ahead. It also gives them some confidence as they showed that they can comeback to win games if needed. Additionally, the boys now sit with an 11-3 overall record and a 7-1 record in league.
