Volleyball starts out 2-0 River with win against Skyview.

(CR Sports) - Last night, the volleyball team took on the Skyview Storm, winning convincingly, 3-0. The win improves the team's record to 2-0 on the season after they defeated the Woodland Beavers on Tuesday, 3-0.
The next home volleyball game is next Thursday, September 14th at 7:00 pm against Hockinson-good luck, volleyball! Make sure to come out and support the team as they continue their grind this season!_____________________________________

(CR Sports) - Last night, the volleyball team took on the Skyview Storm, winning convincingly, 3-0. The win improves the team's record to 2-0 on the season after they defeated the Woodland Beavers on Tuesday, 3-0.
The game was utter domination by the Rapids, as they won all three sets with ease. Senior Logan DeJong said the key to their success was “great leadership [and] great coaching” and that “all-around, everyone did their part”. She also told how the win was “really encouraging” for the team and their upcoming season.
The volleyball team has won back-to-back state championships in the 2A district and is looking to three-peat, and last night's win seemed to boost their confidence in their journey to win another state championship.
