Senior captain, Trenton Sarvela, described that so far, this season’s success has helped the team stay “poised” and has helped build their “mental toughness”. Trent, however, also added that the team needs to work on “stay[ing] focused” during practices, which will help them going forward and into the postseason.

Additionally, the community and atmosphere surrounding the tennis team have been outstanding because of the “big group of seniors this year, along with a bunch of juniors” which have made the team “inclusive to a lot of people” according to Trent. 

Overall, this season has been a great one for tennis, not only because of the success that they have had so far, but also because of the excellent team community they have established.
