(CR Sports) - Columbia River Soccer is on a roll winning 10 straight games sitting at an undefeated record of 10-0-1. On Tuesday, they faced the Ridgefield Spudders and defeated them 1-0 handing them just their second loss of the season (7-2). River’s very own Avah Eslinger has scored a goal in all three of the most recent games including the game defining goals against R.A. Long and Ridgefield. With every new game, they achieve greater goals, and strive even closer to a state title. Defeating Ridgefield who were 6th in the class 2A preseason rankings (River being ranked number 1) is one of the most impressive showings of their season thus far.
Throughout this season, they have obtained a well-deserved goal differential of 29 and have only conceded 5 goals all season. After an away game stint against Mark Morris and Hudson’s Bay, River will face off against the Washougal Panthers at home next Thursday at 7:00 PM. Come out and support, Rapids!_____________________________________
