Bowling wins consecutive games against Ridgefield ahead of Friday's pivotal match against Fort Vancouver.

(CR Sports) - Girls Bowling on Saturday competed in the Bearcat Invitational and took 4th out of 12 teams (both 3A and 2A). Sydney Rehburg took 8th overall and took home an individual award because of it.
(CR Sports) - Girls Bowling on Saturday competed in the Bearcat Invitational and took 4th out of 12 teams (both 3A and 2A). Sydney Rehburg took 8th overall and took home an individual award because of it.
Then, Girls Bowling defeated Ridgefield yesterday by a final score of 1771-1587! It was the second time this year that the River Bowling team has defeated Ridgefield, the first time they played, River won 1895-1622.
With a second win under their belt, their record now stands at 2-5, however, after yesterday’s victory, they have more momentum going into Friday’s game against Fort Vancouver.
Fort has had a strong start to the year, with a record of five wins and zero losses, meaning they will be a competitive opponent for River, but a win against Fort could flip River’s season around as it would be their second win in a row.
Overall, River’s win yesterday could be the boost they needed to turn their season around and finish it strong. Good luck, Girls Bowling!_____________________________________Sections
