Recapping the Boys and Girls Golf state meets as both teams end their seasons on a high note

(CR Sports) - This past Tuesday and Wednesday, the 2A WIAA State Golf Tournament took place at Liberty Lake Golf Course for boys and Meadowood Golf Course for girls in Liberty Lake, Washington. This year’s tournament proved to test the player’s skills as precipitation and windy conditions were seen throughout the competition. Despite these challenges, the boys team placed 3rd overall.
Boys golf coach Aaron Blackwelder commented on their excellent performance this season saying that he “looks forward to continuing a tradition of excellence as [they] prepare for the 2024-25 season.” As the season ends, we congratulate our golf athletes on their success._____________________________________

Both teams saw quality individual and team placements marking the end of a successful season. The event was an 18-hole two-round competition that saw impressive performances from Jack Kendrick, Luke Potter, and Noah Larson. These athletes placed 7th, 11th, and 24th respectively.
