The Rapids had their first game of the year against Skyview High School and did not disappoint. They started off their season strong by taking home a 6-0 victory over the Storm. They followed this up the next day, where they faced Centralia High School and took another 6-0 shutout. This past Tuesday they added to the strong start by beating Hudson’s Bay 6-0, lifting them to the top of the league.

On Thursday, River faced off against Ridgefield High School, attempting to stay undefeated on the season with four straight wins. The Rapids succeeded, as they picked up another convincing 6-0 win against the Spudders. Star performances came from Jenny Serebriakova who shut out her opponent twice, and it was the same story for Riley Schoonmaker and Katie Dumas who won both of their sets 6-0, not conceding a single set.
