Wrestling sees success in Clark County Tournament as Districts are on the horizon.

(CR Sports) - Last weekend, River Wrestling participated in the ‘Clark County Wrestling Tournament.’ Many wrestlers achieved victory, with high finishes across the board.
After a successful regular season, River will now be preparing for the state postseason. The Rapids will participate in the district tournament this Saturday. It will be at Hockinson High School, and the wrestling will start at 10 AM. River will look to carry their good form through districts and to the state tournament. (CR Sports) - Last weekend, River Wrestling participated in the ‘Clark County Wrestling Tournament.’ Many wrestlers achieved victory, with high finishes across the board.
The team carried their momentum into the tournament and finished strong. Notable performances were from senior Tennyson Kurtz, who placed first in the 157lb boys weight class bracket. This was Tennyson’s third Clark County title, as he added to an impressive high school career. Junior Jersey O’Neill was the standout wrestler for the girls, as she took first place in the 120lb girls weight class bracket. She became only the second female Clark County champion for River.
