Boys and girls wrestling dominate districts as they prepare for regionals this weekend.

(CR Sports) - Last Saturday, Boys and Girls Wrestling participated in the 2A Region 3 Districts Wrestling Tournament at Hockinson High School. Both boys and girls placed in the tournament and finished strong.
This Saturday both teams will participate in Regionals. The Boys Wrestling team will be at Washougal High School, while the Girls Wrestling team will be at Centralia High School. Great job and good luck, wrestlers!_____________________________________
(CR Sports) - Last Saturday, Boys and Girls Wrestling participated in the 2A Region 3 Districts Wrestling Tournament at Hockinson High School. Both boys and girls placed in the tournament and finished strong.
The boys team won districts by the slimmest margins, by a tally of 297.5 to win over Washougal’s 297. The Rapids also took home a pair of titles, with Tennyson Kurtz taking home first place in the 157-pound weight class, and Lutalo Quinn taking first place in the 215-pound weight class.
Over on the girls side, they finished strong and achieved second overall. The team was led by senior Jada Winfield, who won first place in the 190-pound weight class with 22 points. Many other girls achieved success as well, with several second-place finishes to help propel the team up the ranks.
This Saturday both teams will participate in Regionals. The Boys Wrestling team will be at Washougal High School, while the Girls Wrestling team will be at Centralia High School. Great job and good luck, wrestlers!_____________________________________
