Track and Field dominates Hudson's Bay and Mark Morris to remain undefeated in.

Some notable performances came from the girls 4x100m run team- consisting of Lilian Mickel, Mila Montoya, Olivia Banfield, and Gina Lungwitz- who were able to win their race by nearly two seconds with a time of 52.99s. The boys 4x400m team also performed amazingly. The team- consisting of Joseph Ianello, Solomon Menendez, Neftali Menendez, and Eli Wenger- reached their personal best on the season with a 3:39.68 while also winning the race.
When looking at some of the field events, Preston Shearer won the meet in Javelin by throwing a javelin 133’ 5”, while Lucas Fish placed 3rd by throwing 120’ 7”. For boys discus, Ryker Loukkula won the meet by heaving a disk over 150 feet, 150’ 10” to be exact. For the girls, for the triple jump, Peyton Dukes’s 34’ 7.75” jump was a personal best on the season and propelled her to win the event. Then, for girls pole vault, Cici Orizotti won the event with a 10’ 6” vault.
River remains undefeated in league meets, and looks to continue this dominance through the end of the regular season and into the postseason. River has a very strong team all-around this year and has a solid chance of taking home first place at state for all teams.
