Parking problems: some students say overcrowding causes them to be late to school

Students have complained about being jam-packed while trying to enter the lots, which they claim has caused them to be late to their first period classes, noting that it can take several minutes to even get to their spot after entering the lot. 

Exiting the lot has also caused conflict, as the long line of cars can prevent other students from different angles from entering the line of cars and exiting the school. 

CR News spoke to a few river students who expressed their thoughts on the traffic issue, expressing how they feel it’s “really annoying” and makes them “late to class most days.”

A credible source familiar with the problem tells CR News that the problem is not in the hands of the school, adding “we’ve tried to talk to the county. Get some more traffic lights and traffic lines. They won’t listen.”
