(CR News) - Allison Kerr, River’s new mental health therapist, speaks about her experience at the school so far. As a school mental health therapist, Kerr deals with issues that school counselors may not be able to, such as understanding and coping with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and is grateful for her position as “a lot of schools don’t have the capacity to treat mental health”.

(CR News) - Allison Kerr, River’s new mental health therapist, speaks about her experience at the school so far. As a school mental health therapist, Kerr deals with issues that school counselors may not be able to, such as understanding and coping with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and is grateful for her position as “a lot of schools don’t have the capacity to treat mental health”.
Kerr’s time at River has been “super inclusive and very kind” and she hopes to make new connections with more students. She hopes to be a "guiding light for ['] future", finding the most purpose "guiding [their] path in any way".
“Everyone [has] to get through their own mud to grow up and get where they’re at. If I can help guide that path in any way, that’s where I feel most purpose in my job.”
