Spring sports start soon. Here's what you need to know

Registration for spring sports has already opened. To sign up for spring sports visit our webpage: river.vansd.org. Then scroll down to Athletics and activities, then click on it. Next, on the right hand side once you scroll down, there's a button that says “Sports Registration”; click on that to register for a spring sport.

Make sure to have a valid physical to sign up, and pay any fees associated with registering. The first day of practice for spring sports is on February 27th, 2023; with tryouts typically starting a few days before the first practice, if there are any. Once you sign up for a school sport, you will then be able to receive emails from the coaches about when practices tryouts, and other events are.

Lastly, some teams have started to do small sided activities prior to the beginning of the season. Be sure to sign up to get information on when those activities are, if you’re interested.
