(CR News) - Tennis, much like last year, is having another highly successful season. So far this season, the varsity girl’s tennis team is a perfect 7-0 with all the games being won 6-0. Girl’s Tennis has been putting in a lot of work to achieve this success and do not want to let up now, and they have high aspirations for their team.
(CR News) - Tennis, much like last year, is having another highly successful season. So far this season, the varsity girl’s tennis team is a perfect 7-0 with all the games being won 6-0. Girl’s Tennis has been putting in a lot of work to achieve this success and do not want to let up now, and they have high aspirations for their team.
Their first goal is to win league, then they want to win districts, then lastly they want to win state. This is accomplishable and can be done, but the team needs to stay consistent. The team uses many different line-ups of players that they can rotate in which helps them win. So even when the team has faced adversity and needs to change up the line-up they have proven that they can still be highly successful.
Overall, up to this point, according to Mr. Erickson, the team has played “extremely well”, and has described their team as a very passionate one. Though, to end up where they want to be, they will need to continue to work hard, and keep pushing forward. Here at CR News, we would like to congratulate the team on their success and we give them our best wishes headed forward in the season.
Lastly, if you want to go to a meet, their next set of matches that is at home, is on Monday (4/24) against Hockinson High School. Come out and show your support!
