"The Rapids Report" wins National Award for Magazine Program from the Emmys

NEWSROOM: After nearly thirty years of history, CRTV has been honored with its first ever national student production award win from The Emmys! “The Rapids Report” episode which won, “Bridging the Divide,” originally aired Nov. 1, 2024—just days before one of the most divisive elections in American history. It featured a panel conversation on civic engagement and polarization, in addition to a feature piece on a Ukrainian refugee student at River who used painting to express his experiences following the outbreak of the war.
