Elijah Garon joins "The Rapids Report" as co-moderator beginning next week to discuss cell phone policy and social media use in schools

NEWSROOM: Beginning this month, CR News correspondent Elijah Garon (@egaron27) will join “The Rapids Report” (@rapidsreport) as co-moderator of the program, which attempts to create a dialogue on important issues facing the River community. Garon is also the executive producer of & fill-in anchor on “CR Mornings” (@crmornings) & made his on-air reporting debut in September. 

Covering stories such as the NHS inauguration ceremony, River’s care closet, & more recently the all-new “Ripple Effect” segment on “CR Mornings,” Garon has already established himself among CR News viewers. 

For his first episode in the new role, he’ll tackle the issue of cell phone policy and social media in schools as bans take effect nationwide & as restrictions tighten right here at River.
